BraunAbilty with Jay Leno's Garage

In early August of 2017, BraunAbility, Chrysler, Wounded Warrior Project, and Jay Leno teamed up to surprise Army Veteran, Craig Andrade and his family with a brand new Chrysler Pacifica outfitted with a BraunAbility in-floor ramp conversion. Andrade was on tour in Iraq in 2005 when his patrol was hit with an improvised explosive device (IED). The explosion resulted in the loss of both of his legs and one of his comrades. During his rehabilitation process, depression became an invisible combatant, Andrade credits his wife with keeping him motivated and their family moving forward.

Jay Leno has been a visible and long time advocate for the Military service men and women of the United States. Andrade had no idea that he and his family were going to be presented with a fully accessible Chrysler Pacifica with a BraunAbility in-floor ramp van conversion. They thought they were going to view Leno’s classic car collection and hit up some local attractions. The BraunAbility in-floor conversion was a perfect fit for Andrade and his family, the in-floor ramp is one of the widest in the industry and offers the lowest ramp angle for easy entrance and exit. The whole family will be able to ride along as well! The BraunAbility Chrysler Pacifica offers the most room industry wide; in height, width, and flexibility in seating.

The amazing partnership between Jay Leno, BraunAbility, Chrysler, and the Wounded Warrior Project brought the Andrade family the ability to once again travel as a whole family unit. The impact of this incredible accessible vehicle is hard to describe in words, check out the moment itself at CNBC.
