Dana @ Total Mobility has installed low tech and high tech adaptive equipment on 2 of my vehicles. Everything works great & keeps me in complince. Jamie finds me the right equipment while Nancy provides great customer service. Highly recommend TM - they've made my life easier to navigate. 8/11/24 Update: It's expensive to be disabled. I've spent about $2,000 @ Total Mobility. Considering I have a progressive disease, chance are, I'll be spending more over the years to adapt my car. Twice a year, I'm charged $87 and wait 30+ minutes to change a battery that operates my electronic, multifunction spinner knob. Turns out its a 12v battery that costs ONE DOLLAR and takes 5 min to change out. So disappointed. Changing my rating from 5 stars to 1. Not cool. Show Less
I wish there were more places like this. We had to drive from York to get my spinner knob put back on. They were very friendly and polite.
I had to find a rear wide ramp wheelchair van to transport my wife to her three days per week dialysis appointments, and a myriad of other medical appointents. We don't qualify for any assistance, a used van was the only viable option. I met with Charlie Santa at the Boswell Total Mobility. I am a really large guy and Charlie took the time to bring five different vans into the building allowing me to see what I could and could not drive. Then the search started, used rear ramp vans are highly sought after. Every one TM had was either sold or had multiple sales holds on it. Charlie Santa was persistent and got one of the vans I had looked at for us. He also worked hard to arrange financing, and delivered our van so I didn't have to make the 90 mile round trip. Same for the title transfer. The level of customer service offered by Total Mobility is not often found anymore. Highly recommended. Show Less
I have had the most pleasurable experience with this store! I feel it is a necessity for me to let others know what a pleasure it was dealing with such knwledgeable, friendly, compassionate people. Chad went way beyond his call of duty to help me. He came to my home and drove my van to his store, an hour away, so that they could install my Joey lift. I have Parkinsons, and this kindness helped me immensely!! He drove my van home to me, and gave me a detailed demonstration of how to operate this lift. He even helped me with my cup holder that I could not attach to my scooter. He was so easy to talk to!! I am a retired school teacher. I sincerely believe that when someone goes the extra mile, that they should be recognized for this! I want to thank him for ALL that he did for me!! Also Kelly that works there, and usually answers the phone was so patient with me. Her tone of voice was very kind and caring. This is how service should be, and seriously it is hard to find anymore. I am truly grateful that I found this company and had the privilege of doing business with them!!!!! Show Less
Suzie & Adaptive Mobility for the win! I was beside myself when my multiple sclerosis took my ability to drive. Then finding out there ws literally no where in the vicinity to get training on adaptive equipment was devastating. Then I was pointed in the direction of Adaptive Mobility Services. I got in touch with Suzie, and literally everything changed for the better. She drove hours to pick me up, she laid everything out, was there for me every step of the way, and has the best personality on top of all that! At one point PENNDOT was ready to suspend my license because they did not like how long something, which was out of my control, was taking. Suzie swooped in to fight them on it and won by the way. She made the appointment and was there for my driving test, which I was super prepared for and passed on the 1st shot. Lastly, she had me check in when I picked up my car so she could be sure everything was done correctly. She did that last part due to her kind and wonderful personality, as it was of no charge to me. Not only do I recommend her and Adaptive Mobility Services, I think you’re crazy if you use anyone else. Show Less
Tim Campbell at Total Mobility Solutions (TMS) is the best... kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. HE is the reson we purchased from TMS instead of another dealership. We even plan to move all service appointments to TMS because we trust them so much. We appreciate the whole team and are thrilled with our new van! Show Less
I highly recommend Adaptive Mobility if you are looking for a service to help you get behind the wheel again. Having a driving evaluation can be a stressul event. My husband was very anxious before Susie arrived. She immediately made him feel comfortable and alleviated all of his stress so he was able to be relaxed during the entire time. She was very professional and set the expectations of the evaluation and made it a very positive experience. I was very impressed by her expertise and knowledge. My husband is a disabled Vietnam Veteran. He recently suffered a stroke and we were trying to find a vehicle that would meet his needs. I calle Total Mobility and talked to Chad Edwards. I have, unfortunately, had to deal with the healthcare system this year more than I had ever imagined. The one bright spot has been working wth Total Mobility Services. They're an absolutely wonderful group of people (Especially Tim, Brooke, and Kirsten!) who really care about their services, products, and customers. Renting a van was super easy and they gave me great training before I took the van off the lot. I would highly recommend Total Mobility Services for your mobility needs! Show Less
I have been working with Chad for about a year now and could not be more satisfied with him and the staff. He always go above and beyond to strive to mae every need and concern one may have a successful transition, always coming up with creative ideas in adaptability. I can't express just how grateful I am to these wonderful people. From the first phone call to handing the key over at the end of my rental they allwere so nice and helpful. The reservation lady I talked with explained the cost and worked quickly with me to ensure I could get the van for the time I needed. The team at the Hurricane office were outstanding. The receptionist made the experience pleasurable and as smooth as possible. The gentleman who explained the lock down features for the wheelchair and exactly how the ramp worked was not only personable but very detailed in his explanation. The gentleman I handed the keys to at dropoff wanted to know that I was satisfied. I definitely will use this company again if needed. Thanks everyone for a great experience. Show Less
The staff at Total Mobility are exceptional. Tara is very patient and caters to the customer's scheduling needs with promtness and professionalism&priod; Charlie is just about the friendliest salesman on earth, and has the patience to answer endless questions (which is bound to happen with adapted vehicles). He is polite but also a straight shooter. I highly recommend having a dealership that both, sells you the vehicle as well as handling modification and adaption issues in-house ...(I made the mistake on a previous modified vehicle, by not doing that). Bob is a thorough mechanic, and sees to needs if you address concerns with him. Cudos! ...the lobby took some getting used to, as it has just about the largest collection of taxidermy mounts. We have dealt with this Total Mobility and Charlie Santa for many years for wheelchair conversions for our son. They are very professional yet at the sam time you feel a personal touch when dealing with them. They provide a great quality product and work with you on any issues that might arise and do their best to get you exactly what you need. Phone calls are always returned promptly. My first modified van with these guys was 1986, a Ford Econoline 150. My latest is seen here with Greg and Warren in 2019. There were two moe new vans between 1986 and 2019 modified by this company. I'm pretty sure it will be my last one, but I won't go anywhere else if it isn't. These guys are fantastic professionals that deliver every time. I wholeheartedly recommend Total Mobility Services. We highly recommend Total Mobility Services who installed and programmed our adaptive driving equipment (the Bever smart steer). Communicationwith Charlie Santa at Total Mobility was very easy, and accurate. Service was highly professional and exceptional!! I have been buying van conversions in Maryland for 7 years. Every encounter with the staff at Total Mobility Services has been enjoyable. trust them to find me the right van, and I trust them to maintain it properly on a regular basis. In addition, they were able to connect me to the financing I needed when my bank didn’t come through. I need reliable and kind people to help me maintain a mobile life style. We had TMS install two chair rails, and Charlie, our rep, made everything very easy for us. The prices were very reasonable, and harlie was quick to respond with any questions or issues we had. We'll be in the middle of another construction project, we'll definitely be calling TMS again! Show Less
